Keeping up the tradition of commencing the new Rotary year by seeking the blessings of the Almighty, RY 25-26. team organised the Annapurna day at Kartar AASRA, Chandigarh. Making a humble attempt to serve the Senior In-mates, Rotary provided 4 Room coolers and Food items.
Mrs Nandita Ahluwalia of the trust welcomed the members of RCMM & explained the activities at the Kartar AASRA expressing immense satisfaction with the arrangements & its trustees.
PP Rtn Amarjit Singh Virk outlined the transformation from a Joint Family Culture to the Nuclear families, thus emphasising the needs of Old Age Homes in the modern times.President Rtn. Aameep Sinha prayed & sought the blessings of the Almighty as well as the fellow members of the Club.
Chief Guest AG Rtn Harpreet Singh Rekhi appreciated the activities of our club which he has been following with interest and congratulated the new team for it’s initiative to organise ANNAPURNA DAY on the very first day of RY 25-26.
Planters were presented to the Chief Guest, Mrs Ahluwalia & S Baljeet Singh Ji. The Annapurna day was concluded with the vote of thanks by the Secretary expressing gratitude to the Chief Guest, all the Fellow Rotarians who contributed liberally towards this project and the Trustee/In-mates of the Kartar Aasra.
