Achievements
Rotary Club Mohali Midtown had been providing exemplary social service to the community in the area by undertaking to meet local needs. Among the major community projects executed by the club in the past years are:
Adoption of Village Tanda in Kharar sub division of District SAS Nagar in the year 2022-23. Whereby, the club transformed a school and a cremation ground. The club plans to work in the same village for minimum two years.
Since its inception, the Club has been sponsoring two surgeries per month.
Providing education to needy students
Benches provided to over 6 schools in the district
Regular blood donation and medical camps
Providing financial assistance under its small financial support program
“Eradicating Polio” has been the clarion call for Rotary Clubs all over the world and Rotary Club Mohali Midtown has been no exception. The Club has participated actively in all the Anti Polio campaigns organized in the City.
In the very first year of its charter, the club had its first major donor in PP. Rtn. Ravijeet Singh; and in its second year PP Rtn. Harjit Singh was the Assistant Governor.
The Club encourages membership for spouse. And in the third year a spouse member namely Ms.Manjit Kotla was the club secretary. The club has had its second woman secretary ,Rtn. Prabhjot Kaur, in the year 2024-25.
The club has 8 Interact Clubs namely the Interact Club of St Soldier International School, Ajit Karam Singh Smart School-65, Tribune School, Brookfield International School, Millenium School, Vidya Valley School, Delhi Public School, Yadvindra Public School
Our Rotaractors from Rotaract Club of Mohali City, and Rotaract Club of Khalsa College Mohali of Technology & Business Studies work in tandem with us and their support in tremendous.
