Annapurna Day at Pingalwara, Chandigarh ; 15 Air Coolers, and other essential items provided

Members of Rotary Club of Mohali Midtown (RCMM) began the 2026-27 Rotary year by embracing the spirit of “Service Above Self” at Pingalwara, Chandigarh. Renowned worldwide, Pingalwara provides dedicated care to the destitute, orphans, elderly, individuals with physical or mental disabilities.To commemorate Annapurna Day, the club fulfilled urgent needs identified by the organization, donating 15 air coolers, uniform dupattas, and essential groceries and toiletries. The project, which totaled approximately ₹1.20 Lakhs, exceeded its original funding target thanks to the collective generosity of club members and additional contributions from our distinguished guests. Event was graced by Chief Guest Mr. S.K. Aggarwal (former District Judge and President of the Consumer Commission, Mohali) and Guest of Honor Dr. Rashmi Khurana Nagpal (former Dean, NMIMS, and Additional Director, DME Noida). Both dignitaries shared valuable insights, enriching the ceremony. 25 members/Anns participated.
