Tanisha Singh was installed as the President of the Interact Club, of AKSIPS-65 receiving the collar from President of Rotary Club of Mohali Midtown Rtn Dilpreet Singh Boparai on Sept 27th 2004 at the school campus. The event commenced with the lighting of the lamp by the Executive Director AKSIPS Group of Smart Schools Mr. Jasdeep Kalra; Associate Director Administration, AKSIPS Group of Smart Schools Mr. Sidhant; the Associate Director Academics AKSIPS Group of Smart Schools Parnika Singh; Rotary Club members, and Principal Rajminder Kaur Jaitla.
Students from Class V resented a captivating performance. Interact president in her address pledged to serve humanity and made a mention of the various activities of Rotary that have influenced her to don this all-important post. Principal Mrs. Rajminder Kaur Jaitla highlighted the various projects that the interact club has carried in the earlier years and reminded board members the responsibilities that come with this fresh assignment. She also shared the plans for current Rotary year while emphasizing the importance of community service. Rtn. Dilpreet Singh Boparai advised Tanisha to collaborate with members on projects benefiting society and the environment; and assured that Rotary Club of Mohali Midtown will always be there with the Interact club.
